Goonengerry Falls

The off beaten track really puts you with nature as you journey to a beautiful waterfall 50 minutes out from Byron Bay. The base of the falls offers a sizeable swimming hole, and the waterfall itself is a mesmerising sight. 

To reach Marom Falls, park on the roadside, cross the entrance, and follow the descending path to the base. This short walk, taking only about 10-15 minutes, places you right in the heart of a breathtaking landscape.

Whian Whian Falls

Whian Whian Falls can be found within the Whian Whian Falls Conservation Area, located near Nightcap National Park. This waterfall offers a great place to relax, swim and soak in the summer sun. You have the option of two great swimming holes to choose from!

To get there, park in the nearby car park, then make your way to a little track, from which you will follow the fence around until you arrive at the Whian Whian Falls lookout. The trip from carpark to lookout shouldn’t take much longer than a five minute walk. Be careful on your journey if it’s recently rained as the track can become slippery from the mud.
